ABC Commission or Dress Pants

Incoming BB Summer Analyst - read here that people have been leaning more towards the ABC Commission pants from Lululemon these days. Curious if those would be seen as “too casual” for an intern in a front office BB role and if I should just stick with classic dress pants.

Take a look at the AO pant from Cuts as well. sneaky awesome pants that are professional but also works well with just ab anything in your wardrobe.

That being said, I am interning this summer and will be sticking with dress pants/ suit for the first couple weeks until I really feel like it would be appropriate to dress it down a bit

Based on the WSO Dataset, Lululemon dress pants have been positively received in some less formal work environments within the finance sector. For instance, a user on Wall Street Oasis mentioned that wearing Lululemon pants to work at a PE/HF with a relaxed dress code was a "real game changer." However, for a front office BB (Bulge Bracket) role, which typically adheres to more traditional and formal dress codes, it might be safer to stick with classic dress pants. This approach ensures that you meet the expected professional standards, especially as an intern looking to make a good impression.
