CB to ER

hey monkeys-currently an analyst in corporate banking at JPM/BofA/Citi with an interest in moving over to ER internally. hours in CB aren't that great (55-60) and the work is boring but i've always enjoyed reading equity reports whenever i've gotten the chance for a company i work on. love the idea of doing deep dives on specific companies, becoming an expert, and building a relationship with the firm and ER just seems more exciting.pros and cons of such a switch and is it even viable without a degree in the sector (currently in TMT and would like to stay in the industry)? haven't talked to anyone internally about it yet.

Hi Incoming Analyst in IB - Cov, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)
