I'll take the maritime role over the client coverage group of banks you mentioned (not sure tho how they are perceived in UK). Maritime lends itself more to securitized/structed finance and I know someone who did this junior summer and got a full-time role at large global asset manager (20B+ AUM).
What is valuation like for maritime companies? What are the most common methodologies used?
The role you have is a good start but perhaps consider other sectors too. Not sure if there are many maritime exit opps
Yeah I would like to but this is unfortunately all I have. Have u seen any maritime guys with decent exits? Also I was wondering if my sector matters that much as it's just summer internship.
