Missing One Class to Graduate

Last summer I interned in a back office role at a major bank and I got a return offer and am supposed to return in July for full time.

The offer said I’m supposed to graduate by the time I start the job. During a chat last summer with an employee in the same role I’d be doing they said they actually never went to college so I guess they don’t have a degree?

Due to a health emergency I’m taking a semester longer than anticipated to finish my last thesis class, so I would be finished in the fall. The class is done remotely so theoretically I could work and finish up the last class. how strict do you guys think they’ll be in letting me come back to work in July?
