Introduction

Hello everyone - I am new to WSO.

I work in Corporate Development at a PE-owned company in the industrials sector. I have a slightly non-traditional background with no deal experience prior to my current position.

I went to a target school but (for some foolish reason) thought I wanted to go the accounting track. I got my CPA and quickly realized it was not for me. After a multi-year slog I worked my way into CD through working in corporate finance and FP&A. I now work almost exclusively in CD: strategy, pipeline, modeling, due diligence, post-merger integration.

Looking forward to meeting all of you and having further discussions.
